3 weeks without a walk

It's been 3 weeks without a walk, and I thought (let me stress "thought") it would be a good idea today.
We only have a few sidewalks, and the streets have limited clear spots. Between keeping a good footing so I wouldn't slip and fall, and keeping the hounds out of traffic, it was a mess.

Dozer broke his leash; Digger saw several cats sunbathing by the church, and then tried to chase them (OK, that was funny, but it was hard to stand on icy pavement); They both walked through the snow instead of walking on the plowed streets; When they did walk on the streets, they decided to walk through 2-3" deep water puddles.

And to top it all off. When we got home, I forgot to close the bedroom door, so they used the bed to dry off on.

look at the bright side, i'm sure they're thankful for the adventure!

Wow! I would love to have some snow here, but in LA (lower Alabama) as we call it, never know what the weather is going to be Hope your comforter is washable
