Just watched the Animal Planet dog show from Houston - the basset in the hound group was a gorgeous red and white male - didn't catch his name, but he was a Bugle Bay dog, like Betsy's. He didn't make the cut, but at least they didn't show him during the commercial. I hate when that happens.

 I'm guessing the dog might have been Ch Bugle Bay's Five Alarm Chili, bred by Marge Cook of Bugle Bay Bassets, and owned by Janet Moffet. Marge's dogs are beautiful, versatile, and have wonderful temperaments.
