The deadline is approaching. See the pinned topic for details on how to participate in the Holiday Card Exchange.
This year, the deadline will be kept, so no modifications/submissions after the set date. I'm sorry I have to be this strict about it, but last year was beginning to become a mess due to me continuing to accept modifications and submissions after set date.
Still, we're far from the number of cards of last year, so DO participate.
I got some worried PM's about not having received the confirmation.
Make sure to check your 'spam mail' or 'junk mail' folders in your Yahoo mail, or even Outlook Express as it could be that the confirmation gets tagged at spam.
But as long as everyone sends theirs, 32 is still a whole lotta basset goodness! I would be dissapointed if we had 50 people sign up and then not send them. Maybe I am justa party pooper. But this has become a highlight for our family every year.
Last year I took them in to the nursing home Murray and I visit, and it was a huge hit! Patients who normally don't interact much smiled and laughed when they looked at the cards- I told them a little story about each dog as we looked through, and actually left Bogie Carter's picture with one patient who had a basset who looked liked him many years ago- it's still hanging on her bulletin board!
I can't wait til the cards start coming!
