Wanna go for a walk?

Dozer & Digger get so excited when I get their harnesses out for a walk, I thought I'd show just how excited they get. It takes about 5 minutes to get them ready, they just won't sit still.

(maybe because we only go for walks on Sunday's)

it's so relieving to know this is somewhat normal behavior. This video is tame compared to my Boudan. He grabs the harness and leash from me and runs around the house with it while I try to put it on him. it's a playful romp, not like he's trying not to go out. I'll have to try to post a video one day.

basset are nuts man, I love em.

Ruby goes bezerk when her harness makes a noise. She'll trot in from another part of the house!

The other day I accidently bumped it when getting the broom off the hook (the harness/leash is right next to it). You'd think I was abusing the poor girl, the way she carries on. I finally was FORCED to put it on her and take her for a walk in the yard. I've moved it to another place.
