So Hubby bought me a brand new laptop and a wireless thingy so I can use it in the living room. Sally has been very unhappy with this turn of events....apparently the computer in the office is OK, but use of one in her living room is not acceptable. She has tried to jump on my lap multiple times while using it. She hardly ever will jump on my lap when I'm watching TV or reading.....just when web surfing. A clear case of jealousy. I let my guard down for a second yesterday and she actually made it, stepped on the keyboard and broke the tab key off.............*sigh*. That'll teach me.

Same thing happened with my daughters laptop. She laid it on her bed and Copper jumped up and one of the keys poped off. I of course blamed her for having the thing open on her bed. It is never the hounds fault ;)

Mine DO NOT like it when I'm on the computer. If I sit for any length of time, Dixie starts the campaign ...cold nose on my elbow and under my arm ...nudge nudge ...again with more emphasis on pulling the arm towards her. Eventually the entire head is shoved upwards, forcing the hand off the mouse  ...

And back onto her!

She hates the computer

I'd be very careful with that new laptop! Last thanksgiving, while I was taking an email break when I thought I smelled burning, so I put my laptop down on the bed and ran to the kitchen. After checking all the pots and pans, I hear a loud thump. I return to the bedroom to find my laptop on the floor and Bogie in its place on my bed. It still turned on, but the screen no longer worked, so I then had the worlds thinnest desktop computer, which I've have plugged into a cheap LCD monitor ever since.
