Just wondering if anyone has fed this food??? The Potato & Venison wasn't working for Rusty. His stool would improve one day and the next full of mucous. So we decided to try this formula. Just looking for anyone to share their experience with this food??

I haven't tried that one, but I have friends who are starting to distribute another type of food, I will get the name from them. They are VERY picky about what they feed their dogs. We started B & E on Wellness by Old Mother Hubbard. 1/2 Fish and Sweet Potato and 1/2 Lite formula. Button has adjusted beautifully, but Elmer still has loose stools, and scooping that is getting old. I am going to investigate this new food. I'll post their website after I find out what kind it is.

I would like to hear more about this food. I called Royal Canin and spoke with a Vet there. She answers some of my questions. The BIG shock was the price$$$ 37 pound bag $82!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OMG!!! I will just see how Rusty does on this food, then I'll have to make a decision.

Another food that may be worth a try is Wellness Simple Solutions. There is a venison formula and a duck formula. The idea being that there is only one protein source and one carb source, and the food has as few ingredients as possible. Sally has multiple allergies and this has worked really well for her. It's not cheap, but is a lot less expensive than the Royal Canin. Rocky also eats this and they both look great. Hope you find something that works for Rusty!

I spoke with Royal Canin today again. They said their 37 pound bag has approximately 215 cups. So at 2 1/2 cups daily that is okay. I will try this food with a gradual introduction and hopefully this will be it. The Vet at the hospital who actually performed Rusty's rock surgery feeds Royal Canin Hypoallergenic to her Lab. She isn't in the office today so I can't speak to her but have a call into her for tomorrow.

So sorry Rusty is still having problems. I sure hope you will find an answer soon for him. Thankfully Bogie hasn't had any problems after his two rock surgeries. We have him on Innova (green bag) and he is doing great.
