I just ordered this bowl for Rusty. Since his rock surgery he practically inhales his food. No kidding, he is done in under a minute!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I found this company started by a woman with a Doberman that also inhaled his food. I just got off the phone with her. Very nice lady. The idea is the obstacles should slow him down.

Here's a picture of it.

I got one for Button awhile back. It works well to slow him down. Now at least I have time to fix Elmer's food after I set Button's food down!

It's kind of pitiful at first, him trying to eat around the posts, but he got used to it. I think he feels more satisfied when he takes more time.

My boy Gibbs too inhales his food once he goes over to his bowl. I've been contemplating getting one of these for my dogs, but Lily tends to chew on plastic bowls. <_<
