This was a good find. I know this is strictly a Basset Hound forum, but I just wanted to post this link in honor of our forgotten heros. Besides, some of these dogs very well may have been Basset Hounds used for tracking.
A lot of people don't realize that our four legged
friends have helped and are currantly helping our troops all over the world.
God bless the people who seek recognition for the dogs loyalty,intelligence,selflessness
and bravery. They have saved many lives and allowed many troops to return
safely to their families. They have diligently served and are currently
serving our country to the best of their ability. They deserve to be
honored and recognized, for they are also hero's.
