I promised pics of my furkids, but I am trying to figure out pic posting, I'm a very slow learner when it comes to technology!!

I have 3 mastiffs, 1 teacup poodle, and Fred our baby basset. The little fawn mastiff in the pic with my husband is not ours, he is a foster. He goes to his forever home tomorrow. Our 3rd mastiff and our poodle are not shown....they were laying on the porch in the shade!!

Isn't Fred adorable!! Tell me what you think of him. He is our first Basset Hound, and he is a rescue, I think he's pretty!!

There is no comparison!!

Totally different animal, maybe species!!

As puppies they are about the same, except I think Fred, for reasons that he is a hound afterall....is more inquisitive, and likes to investigate. The only time this little guys sleeps is if I put him in his crate like he's a little kindergarten student!! Hahahaaa!!

Mastiffs on the other hand, even as puppy's, play a little while, then they pass out!!

Fred never runs out of energy and when I take him out to potty he will chase baby toads for hours....yes, hours....a mastiff will follow them around till they get tired, which doesn't take long! My adult mastiffs couldn't care less about chasing toads, they go out to potty and they make it quick because someone might steal their place on the couch while they're gone!

Both breeds are gentle and very dog friendly. They have all become good friends, and the mastiffs pretty much let Fred walk all over them...literally!

What a beautiful family you have, although I am certainly partial to Fred! He has gorgeous coloring!

The pic of him and the mastiff on the couch are precious!

And a teacup poodle? Sorry, that brings a smile to my face. The poor little one must feel like he's living with giants!

Great pics, when you get a chance I'd love to see a picture of the whole crew. I love big dogs too Mastiffs (my cousin breeds them in NY), Great Danes, the bigger the better. I have been vetoed on my choices of big dogs. Sorry about the tangent...anyway, your fur family is fabulous.

That is a unique bunch of fourleggers you have there! Your drool rags must be the size of beach towels!

I know nothing about Mastiffs, glad to hear they are gentle giants. I bet Fred enjoys having such big brothers/sisters.

All very pretty dogs, but of course I like Fred best.
