Nice pictures, especially the ones with the hounds drinking out of the pound.

Great pictures, Sandy!! The hounds sure look like they are enjoying the fountain and patio.

One question, what kind of surface do you have on the concrete patio? We've got to do something to our 30 year old patio to cover the washed rocks surface that's popping rocks, which is not good with Bogie and his rock history. That surface on yours really looks nice, almost a mottled marble look. I don't want just a slab of concrete. You can PM me if you want. Thanks!!

How nice of you to put together a real big water bowl for the dogs! :P

Just as long as they don't pee in it. One of our friends did something similar and their dogs pee in theirs.

I just put in a "giant water bowl" too. It's not as nice as your's, but the water tastes the same to the hounds.

Connie. when they poured the patio last year, the guy laid down something like heavy burlap on it, and them stamped it while it was still wet. It left a 'marble' effect, very pretty. The color isn't too good in these pics, it's a deeper blue/grey.

My pond:

Dudley drinks from it, Minnie doesn't. Dudley has fallen in a couple times, Minnie never. I see a pattern here... :P

Sandy, I just love the patio and the pond too! We are looking to do something like that in our backyard.

We have to stop vacationing though, and at this stage of life, I am not ready to give up my vacations!

Louie would love that waterfall. I have never owned a pet that drinks that much water!

I too would love to do some type of water feature in our backyard. I really want a coi (sp?) pond, but the racoons like "partying" in my backyard as it is, I would have to put a net over it and then whats the point...ya'lls ponds are beautiful though.
