Yesterday I came through the foyer and glanced out on the deck. Elmer had apparently used one of the chairs to get up on top of the patio table and wasn't sure how to get down.

I guess I need to be sure that the chairs are pushed in good from now on!

Sorry, I turned the camera on the second one! I keep forgetting you can't do that with a video!

That's so funny! Dixie used to do the same thing. She used a bench to jump up on the table and then would jump down, so we had to move the table!

I love the pic of him on the table!! It's SOOOOOO hard to keep a basset from a place they want to get to. They are so very creative in getting there!

My first basset Bud, once got on the livingroom table full of Thanksgiving plates and food (while we were outside saying hello to a neighbor). He ate some food but was crying because he couldn't get down.

All chairs pushed in from then on.

We heat with wood so last winter we had several cords in a long line. Heard "Funk" howling. Went out to see about what and he'd climbed hack of wood. Howling like he was king of the mountain. Really ticked him off as the pile dwindled down as the winter went on. :P
