does anyone know how to get a basset puppy to stop biting. my whole family is getting sick of it. we no shes just playing but she's like 5 months old . shouldn't it have stoped by now?

You need to make her realize that you don't like it. Whenever she starts to bite say screech ouch! in a high pitched voice, stop playing with her, walk away and ignore her for a few minutes. Keep doing this and after a while she will figure out that she's not suppose to bite.

She very well could still be teething, so make sure she has plenty of soft chew toys to satisfy her urge to chew. And of course follow emc's suggestion.
