I've been so unfortunate to have a disc prolapse in the lumbar regions,
making me quite immobile and when I have to move, Monty Pythons silly
walks seem almost normal. Doris became very upset about that, and haven't
moved away from me day and night, except for necessary errands.

The view I have when laying on the couch:

Once she was out peeing, Emma got her place. If you look carefully,
you'll see Doris on the floor next to me, moaning, groaning and whining.
The problem with Emma laying like this, is that I get numb in my legs too... <_<

BTW -I'm much better now.

There's no medicine as good as a warm basset on your lap when you're sick- hope you are back to yourself soon!

hehe. When I was sick with the flu my girls kept stealing my spot on the couch. I didn't have the energy to move them. I'm jealous!

They're like gigantic, furry heating pads. You should turn over and let them work their magic on your back. I'm glad you're feeling better.

Glad that your back is better. Shame though that you may have to amputate that leg

Glad to hear your back is feeling better. I think a trip to sunny Florida would do you a world of good. You could always mail Doris & Emma a postcard with you laying on the chaise lounge with Rusty & Stickers

Thank you all, even though I wasn't
really asking for sympathy. It was
just so funny with E&D not leaving
me alone for a minute...
