Sunday we decided to get check points 20-25.
The entrance to this forest is from an old military
camp, not in use anymore. The terrain isn't too
difficult, and the distance between the posts is
not too long, so Emma should cope with it well.

The area with the check points:

Strange how Emma - disliking rain - seems to be attracted to mud and ponds:

- No, daddy - can't understand where the check point is, you sure it's around here?

- Now I'm tired, can't we stop for lunch?

- That cake looks delicious, may I taste some?

Beautiful pictures!!! How long was the route...it looks like several miles! I think Emma should be on the biggest loser: basset edition! I wish I lived near a beautiful hiking spot, although my legs would probably give out! :P

Wonderful pictures and it's great to know that Emma is feeing like hiking after her surgery. All the activity should help her shed those extra pounds.

I enjoy seeing your pictures of all of the scenery and glad that Emma is up to taking the hikes.
