Cool

Okay, so now that my hounds are my obsession I'm looking to get some stuff about bassets!

Mainly, right now I'm looking for a silver charm. Does anyone know where to get one?

Other than that statues (especially metal ones) are a love of mine...

What other cool stuff have ya'll picked up?

Bluemud.com for sterling silver charms

Just type in "basset hound" in the search bar on Bluemud.com

I have a question.

My basset hound, Fred is 10mths old. I can't find the right food for him. As a small puppy, he started on Purina Puppy chow until the vet told me to take him off of it. I switched him to IAMS Smart puppy. He was eating that until the food recall, because I got a hold to a bad batch of IAMS. I switched him AGAIN to Kibbles and Bits. He ate it for a while, but it started to make him itch. Now, he is on Nutro - Natural Choice small puppy bites for sensitive stomachs and now, he has light-green soft-to-loose stools.

PLEASE HELP!

You might want to post this as a new topic on the forum or in the health area. My only comment is that my 10 month old basset also had loose green stool and she had a bug (I forget the name) that could be quite harmful. Switching food can cause it to become worse - I would get a stool test done.

I called the vet and scheduled a stool test. Thanks!

I feed nutro lamb and rice to my girls. They seem to do well on it. It's hard getting really good foods in central Iowa.

Its so hard to find food for Fred. He is a finiky eater. I talked to his breeder and she said that his father and mother both are finiky eaters. I give him 15 to 20 minutes to eat. He will sometimes eat up his entire bowl, and sometimes he may eat less than half. I still give him servings according to the chart on this dogfood.
