Default Interesting weekend

Went to the Spring National Field trial near Pittsburgh -- Muttley took second in the derby class on Friday. Then drove to Saltville, VA for 2 AHBA hunts on Sat. and Sunday -- no big winners, but my Wench took second in the champion class. The others ran well and we had a great time -- I loaned my truck to carry one cast to the running grounds and while they were running, a bull got his head stuck between my front tire and the fenderwell. They say he was shaking the truck and not too happy when they got him loose. They had to back-up and wrok his head around with the tire. Luckily, no damage to truck or bull. Then back to the National for Muttley to run in the invitational. He had a bad day so we came home

Congrats to Wench and Muttley!

I guess the bull had a bad day also.

Congratulations to you all! But I'm with Miriam -- I wouldn't want to be around a HAPPY bull, never mind one with his head stuck in truck....

Hi Dean,

Don't know if you remember my problems with Homer chasing my cats, but you suggested zapping him with a shock collar everytime he chased them. I was really reluctant to do this but finally realized that either I tried it or I had to give Homer up. Couldn't give him up, so I tried it. He now behaves with the cats, although I still keep a close eye on him. Thanks so much for your help!
