Will it never end?! I just got back from the emergency room. Seems I have pleurisy. Intense lung pain. For me to go to a doctor, let alone the emergency room, is amazing. Guess who's quitting smoking? Thank goodness I have insurance for myself at least. And thank goodness for drugs. I'm picking up Molly tommorrow, will let you all know how she is. I was wrong, week from hell wasn't officially over! Take care, Belinda. And Billy, Molly is retired from the field. How sad.

Belinda, the Georgia crew are sending healing thoughts and drooling kisses to you, as well as Molly. Hope you feel better soon, and let us know how both of you are doing.
Cindy

Hi Belinda,
Many thoughts and much Drool going your way. Hang in there. I hope you are feeling better soon, and that Molly is up and about and starting to feel well again . At least she'll be back with you soon.

Belinda, fabulous news about Molly. Not so fabulous about you...Now you have to start taking care of YOU because, otherwise, who'll be able to provide all the slavery bassets demand? I know you can do it!!! Do it for you.
Good Luck, Beverly and His Majesty |

Thanks everyone! Does anyone know how long the sympoms last for pleurisy? It's been 2 days and I really want to get back to work. Neither the (I almost wrote "vet"!) Dr. nor the computer have offered up an answer. I'm on ibuprofen and vicoden (sp?) and still hurt. Molly's good. I have to walk her with one of those belly slings when she goes out just so I can catch her if she slips. She doesn't need it. Her tail is wagging but I know she's bored. I have to find some kind of good chewy for her, she's picky and doesn't care for toys. Some critter has taken up residency under a corner of the house. The only reason I know this is because the first thing she did when we got home from the vet's yesterday was to make a beeline for that spot and start to dig "it" out! Always the hunter!! She told me in no uncertain terms that her being in the crate when I'm home is unexceptable. All she does is sleep anyway, and my house is tiny with no stairs so it's kind of like a really big crate. She needs 3 mos. of rest. I look forward to the day when we can start "go for a walk" therapy. Take care, Belinda.

Belinda, the one time I ever had pleurisy, I missed 5 days of work. And when I went back, I still felt awful, but able to make it through the day. I do hope you feel better soon. And wonderful news about Molly! I'm so thankful she's doing so well. Thinking of you both!
Cindy

Molly sounds like she feels *alot* better than you do. It must be great to have her home.
