So I was noticing the other day that Arthur's nose is now a pinkish color mostly instead of the black it was when we got him this past summer. After doing some research online, I discovered the concept of snow/winter nose. Does anyone have any ideas/thoughts/suggestions/info on this? I know that I can eliminate him using plastic bowls to eat and drink out of because his are bamboo.

Well, I'm half tempted to wait until spring and summer to see what happens. Because, if I read it right, the color can come back.
Not that it's a problem for us. If he's not suffering with just a pink nose rather than black, I'm okay with it. Guess he's just like us all...with our own quirks and imperfections.

Bella has a pink nose, it did start off black, but the amount of digging and hiding stolen items and food she does I think she's rubbed all the black off, I can always tell when she's been digging in the garden now though especially funny when the compost stains her nose. She looks so different with a black nose.
