My vet recommends fish oil and multivitamin tablets to further boost my dog's immune system and all around health. How is your dog doing now?

I just saw this – I’m so very sorry about your lose of Jackson. I hope that when you’re ready you can come back and tell us some stories about him and share some photos. I’ve found it helps the healing process. I also lost a 27lb cat the same way, it’s a hard way for them to go – but with you being there with him I know from Goomer purring till the end – he knew you were there. He knows you loved him till the end.

Hugs,
Jen~

I'm so sorry about Jackson. My aunt had a dog that had heart problems, and her vet told her that prednisone can cause heart failure in dogs that have certain heart problems. Nevertheless, he put her dog on prednisone, and the dog died within a couple of days. Jackson may have had a heart problem that you weren't aware of. Regardless, I'm terribly sorry for your loss.

I am so sorry about Jackson. We lost our first Basset, Bubba, who was seven years old to Lymphoma Cancer, so I feel your pain and know what you are going through. I'll be thinking about you and your family.
