Feel back to normal soon Winnie! [Oh and Humphrey had to wear a cone once, he quickly learned that he could scoop things up in and which made him happy!]

Awww, poor Winnie! Get better soon, sweetheart!

BTW, she looks like an ad for an anti-drug campaign; just ask Esther about that!

Oh Winnie! whatta cute pic. wishing u a speedee recoveree!!

i had the same problems after my noootering, bumping into even the carpet. so i stayed in the middle of the room & didn't move. the standing version of flat basset. so my person got me a cone like this. it was squishier so easier to deal with.

i looks a little angry because my person made me wear the cone

Day 3 and Winnie is doing pretty well though she has found a way around the cone. She licks the inside of the cone and then rubs her eye against it. Sometimes she does it with her ear. I keep telling her to stop but she's obviously very itchy. I'm so scared of her hurting her stitches (I have nightmares about her getting them out) and I think I'll just take her over to the vet for a quick check-up tomorrow.

Just wondering how Winnie is doing and how the recheck at the vet went?

I hope Winnie is doing well after her op. When my Lottie had a cherry eye op and had to wear a cone, I used to make it more comfy foir her by putting a big soft scarf around her head so that the scarf was against the cone rather than her face and it seemed much softer for her.
