Sad News for Our Family

It is with a heavy heart that I tell you Rusty has been diagnosed with Renal Carcinoma (Kidney Cancer). He's had some urinary issues that weren't being resolved. After a visit to a specialist and several tests he was diagnosed today. Unfortunately, it has spread to his lungs. He doesn't seem to notice he is sick. He is eating, playing, being his normal self. For that we are grateful. We see the oncologist tomorrow to see how we can keep him comfortable. We will do everything we can for HIM. Please pray for Rusty and pray that we make the right decisions.

OMG, I am so sorry, Patti!

I know how heartbroken you must be to have received this diagnosis for him. Please give Rusty a hug and kiss from me...he has always been one of my favorite bassets! I know you will do whatever is right for your boy. Keeping you all in my thoughts.
