Default Pupppy retching

Hi im new here. i got a 14 week old basset hound puppy. last night he started retching and puking, and his belly got really bloated. now today he is just retching quite frequently and has been sleeping. has only got up to eat breakfest lunch and dinner and go to the bathroom. hasnt even got up to chase the cat once which is his favorite past time. could anyone help? his bloating went away this morning

Sounds like he needs to see the vet. Lethargy in a puppy is worrisome.

I agree with Soundtrack. A vet visit is a must I think.

Foxtails can be nasty. Glad to hear he's okay now.

Silly puppy! Foxtails aren't good grazing food! Glad he's ok though. He probably scarfed his food and downed all of his water when those foxtails got out of his throat.
