Default Gash on Ear

Higgins got bit on the ear at the dog run yesterday. He has about a half inch cut above his right ear. It's not super deep... I washed it off with water and alcohol mixture. He doesn't seem to be in any pain. Any suggestions for what to apply to it? Or should I take him to the vet? Thanks for any help.

Lucy had a cut on her ear once. It wasn't too bad. I cleaned it and put antibacterial ointment on it. You could just call your Vet though to get advice over the phone to be sure.

As long as it doesn't look too bad you can probably just keep an eye on it and keep it clean.
The last time Rosie had a gash on her ear she had to wear a snood until it healed because she would keep licking it open again.
