I'm not sure if there are other threads on this subject but is there anything that people feed their Bassets other than their dog food to improve their coat condition/joints/general health?
I've heard of adding a little olive oil or an egg yoke to food but I'm not sure if any of these are old wives tails. I'd love to hear what other people supplement to their dog's food

Well for Woofus I use honey, and hemp oil (this is good for coat). He has an amazingly soft and shiny coat. Because he's had front leg problems, I've been giving him a product callet Pet Kelp (joint and bone formula). He hasn't been limping in the past 3 months, so I'll keep on doing what I'm doing
