At 1515 today, I helped Miss Dallas to the bridge. I would never have thought this day would end up as it has. The derm specialist, a really nice lady, along with a couple interist at the vet, diagnosed her with end stage lymphoma. SHe just had blooswork back in April, so how this came up so fast, I don't know. Her skin issue was secondary, that had to do with her autoimmune system shutting down.
I brought her back home and over to my vet to help her to the bridge. The derm vet said that she was indeed in some pain with the lesions on her tongue and gum area.
I am still stunned, but it does start adding up, all the little things over the last couple weeks.

I have a major head ache and am going to lie down, could you all please light your candles for my littlest one?

I'm posting this for a friend. Any idea what this is? Her Vet hasn't been much help. The dog has been on anitbiotics, creams, Malesab, etc. Nothing has helped. She is going to a different Vet specialist tomorrow?

I don't have an answer, other than to say poor puppy! That looks horrible! Please let us know what they find out.

OMG!!! I've never seen anything like this. I'm hoping it's a severe allergy/infection and that the specialist is helpful. Please give an update when one is available. And give your friend a hug for me -- looks like they need one!

Rocky just had something removed from his armpit that looked just like that - it turned out to be hair follicle tumors (benign). Poor puppy! Hope the specialist can help.

Oh, damn -- I'm so terribly sorry things ended up this way, both for Dallas and her grieving person. I was hoping this was an infection that would clear up with antibiotics......

Poor Baby's and Mom. I have never seen anything like that. Can't wait to hear what the specialist says it is.
