Ruby has a golf ball size lump on her back left leg. I'm bringing her in to the vet tomorrow a.m.

Keep your fingers, toes, ears, eyes, paws crossed please that it's nothing bad.

Gee, Jan, what do you think it could be? Francis is the lumpiest dog but, fortunately, they've all been benign. Keep us posted!

Seemingly overnight, Stomps developed a large lump on the knee of his hind right leg. Because it was on a joint and seemed to appear so suddenly, I freaked. A vet finally aspirated it and said it was just another fatty lipoma. So hopefully that's all Ruby's is. It is weird where these lumps pop up.

Sending good wishes your way. When Sadie was 3, she had a pea size lump on her elbow that grew to golf ball size in a month. The vet removed it. It was a benign tumor. We hope Ruby has nothing serious.

Good luck to gorgeous Ruby!

Annie just had her teeth cleaned and a lump removed off of her left hip and one on her left leg right above her knee and both were just fatty tumors.

Our vet has several Bassets as patients and said he has had to remove fatty tumors on every single one of them.

Keeping you both in our thoughts and prayers and keep us posted!
