Alright, I know there has got to be somebody here that can tell me a thing or three about blue eyed bassets. I know its genetic but how often dose it occur and is it also associatied with health problems like the blue coat color?

I don't know much about this, but I did see a beautiful blue eyed basset recently. He was a red and white, and being trained in obedience, since he couldn't show in conformation.

Not sure about the relationship between blue eyes and health problems, but blue eyes in a basset are a major fault and the dog should not be used in breeding....
