Females in Florida

My basset, Boss, is a male. We are looking to breed him. He is 4 1/2 years old. Can anyone help or have any suggestions to help out my Boss? He's ready to have puppies!!! Thank you!!

Does your basset have anything to offer to a breeder--- is he a good hunting hound?? is he a very good specimen for the show ring ?? or do you just want to create more puppies ???
