I agree that the ears are not as long as regular bassets but I just started having one 2 weeks back so I am no expert either. Emma's ears are already dragging on the floor as she hops everywhere at 7 weeks. But Daisy is such a sweetheart! She is super photogenic and looks like she knows how to pose for the camera!

She could possibly be pure bred just poorly bred.there are bassets with short ears but if properly looking parents are bred more likely they will have properly looking babies,if the parents ears were rather short so will the babies have short ears.
