Default Nice pics!

Just want to ask; do basset puppies don't have long ears until a certain time for them to grow longer? or their ears are already long since born?

Basset ears are short when they are born, but as they grow up to about 12 weeks old the ears elongate. The ears are suppose to look like they are set on the neck slightly below the eye.Ears above that point are a high set ear and not the ideal.

I know they are almost a year old ,right.I can't believe I'm planning a breeding for July, but Esa has recovered fine from her c-section ,Jen is waiting for another puppy,so no reason to wait longer I may want a male from this litter,we'll see.
