Hi! I'm new here and I'm not sure if there is where I should post this. If I'm in the wrong place please excuse me.

A friend of mine has a friend with a litter due in about 2 weeks. The mother and father are both full blooded bassets but only the mother has papers. So the baby will not be registered. This isn't a huge issue for me since I'm only looking for a new family member.

Question is, since the baby will not be registered what should I expect to pay for her? The lady said this was her first litter and isn't sure what she is going to charge. I'd like to go in with an idea of the max price I should pay.

We paid $200 for Rosco who had neither parents registered as far as we know.
