Rusty gets that and it is not his teeth rather Lip Fold Pyoderma. It's the moisture that gets trapped in the folds around the lips and mouth and bacteria growths. His skin will get red sometimes inflammed sometimes not but the smell starts. I try to wipe his mouth dry after eating or drinking and also cleanse the area with Malesab wipes.
