While I do understand the concerns with a home breeder and the cost of the puppy- I must point out- in some corners of the world $200 is the going rate for pet quality bassets- I've rarely seen a litter for more than $300 where I live- people want them for their farms, ranchs, couches, etc... I paid $250 for my Cuddy- drove 150 miles to get her because her grand sire was related to my Willie (ATB ) who we always said was the best basset ever.
